Honey
Dark & robust, our honey is crafted by bees located between Exira & Elk Horn, IA.
What began with a Jersey milk cow –hence the name Brun Ko or Brown Cow in Danish – has become a sanctuary for pollinators of all kinds. Honey, seasonal produce, pasture raised meat & eggs are our signature products.
We believe in sustainable, low till, regenerative practices. Part of this includes establishing habitats for ALL types of creatures. Native flowers, pollinators, trees, bats and HONEY BEE’S! Our apiary may be small, but it represents a much bigger vision. Your purchase helps to support tree plantings, pollinator habitat, education and outreach, and diversity.
